...that's Chinese New Year to be exact. Tomorrow marks the first day in the Year of the Ox. Noodles and I had a little fun today making a snack treat in the shape of the Chinese character for Ox, and I thought it would be fun to read what Chinese astrology had to say about the year ahead. What I found was really interesting:
"The Ox is the sign of prosperity through fortitude and hard work. This powerful sign is a born leader, being quite dependable and possessing an innate ability to achieve great things. Interesting stuff, no? Given the current condition of our economy and the inspiring call to action we all heard from our new president, I found it fitting that this be the character we aspire to this year. Just a little something to chew on.
Did you hear the neighbors clebration this year? We may have been gone during it. . . It usually scares me until I realize that they are celebrating!
